CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION MISSION STATEMENT of the CENTER FOR BIO-MEDICAL COMMUNICATION, INC. (CBC)

Our mission is to provide quality continuing medical educational activities that measurably improve physicians’ competence and performance and to integrate these quality improvements into physician practice, thereby improving patient outcomes. The Center for Bio-Medical Communication identifies and addresses unmet needs and barriers to physician and healthcare practitioner change through regular evaluations using posttests, surveys, interviews, literature searches, and discussions with expert advisory board members and other therapeutic area experts, in order to monitor the pulse of the healthcare environment, keep abreast of the newest developments in the field, and create educational interventions that improve physician practice in response to demonstrated need.
